about some diorama donations. It tells a lot about our emotional attachment of
our work of art:
"This
is a bittersweet moment for me. The Sanford
History Museum contacted our club and said that they were looking for
exhibit donations. It just so happened that I was running out of space at home
so I offered some of my work. I just boxed up 10 of my dioramas and vignettes to
go off to the museum in Colorado and I’m really happy that they’re going to
a good home
and not being thrown away.
But
at the same time it does make me a little sad to see them go. I wish that we had
the room to keep them, but we just don’t. Hopefully other people will get
pleasure from them, and that’s the best that I could hope for. They are mostly
older works of mine but they mean a lot as I learned a lot from building them
and they helped me get to where I am now"
